AJAX TROY is an advanced 3D gold and metal detector designed for underground exploration, treasure hunting and subsurface investigation. The device combines two complementary detection systems—Gradio Smart and 3D Ground Imaging—allowing users to locate potential target areas and perform more detailed underground scanning and analysis.
TROY can be used to investigate buried metals, underground voids, cavities, archaeological targets, underground structures, pipes and utilities. Detection and scanning information is presented directly through the device interface, providing the operator with useful data for evaluating the search area.
Gradio Smart System
The Gradio Smart System is designed to detect variations and anomalies in the magnetic field within the search area. It can be used during the initial investigation of a site to identify potential areas containing buried metallic objects, underground voids or other relevant anomalies.
Its handheld configuration allows the operator to move systematically across the terrain while monitoring the device response. Areas of interest identified during this stage can then be examined in greater detail using the 3D Ground Imaging System.
3D Ground Imaging System
The 3D Ground Imaging System provides a more detailed approach to subsurface investigation. Using four primary scanning sensors, the system collects ground measurements and processes the data to generate a three-dimensional representation of detected anomalies.
The resulting visualization can assist the operator in evaluating the location, approximate dimensions, shape and characteristics of an underground anomaly. This provides additional information when investigating potential metallic targets, buried structures, cavities, voids and other subsurface features.
5-Inch Color Display & Direct Analysis
AJAX TROY features a 5-inch TFT color display with 16-bit color, providing direct access to its detection systems, operating settings and scan information.
The device also provides intelligent audio feedback during compatible search operations, complementing the visual information presented on the display.
Designed for Field Exploration
TROY combines its detection and imaging technologies within a portable handheld platform suitable for systematic field investigation. The configuration allows users to move efficiently across different terrain while switching between initial anomaly detection and more detailed 3D scanning.
Rechargeable Battery
The device is powered by a 7.4V, 3300 mAh rechargeable battery. According to AJAX manufacturer specifications, operating time can reach up to 10 hours, depending on device settings and operating conditions.
